Es Figueral is located in the east area of Ibiza, just 10 minutes by car from the town of San Carlos and about 15 or 20 minutes from Santa Eulalia. Arriving by a rental car is the most advisable way since it has a very convenient access and ample free parking right next to the beach.
The beach of Es Figueral is a relatively large extension of orange coloured sand protected by rocky cliffs that is the continuation of Aguas Blancas, a slightly wilder beach which is somewhat more difficult to access. Es Figueral enjoys the same stunning beauty but has many more services and amenities, including toilets, showers, disabled access, sunbed and parasol rental and the possibility of water sports such as kayaking or stand up paddle, so it is a very recommendable option, especially if you are traveling with children.
The beach is dominated by the beautiful views of the famous islet of Tagomago, privately owned, and is divided into several sections, some quieter where you can even practice nudism. If you wish you can also enjoy some of the boat trips that leave from the beach itself, to Santa Eulalia or even to the neighbouring island of Formentera.
If you rent a car for your stay in Ibiza you can make a long day trip to get to know nearby interesting places, such as the picturesque town of San Carlos, where the famous Las Dalias hippy market is located, and which in addition to its crafts and clothing stalls, offers lively summer parties such as Acid Sundays or Namasté, and concerts by top artists. Bar Anita in San Carlos is also a must visit, producer of handmade liqueur Hierbas Ibicencas which are famous all over Ibiza.
